This is a very rare feature on 1960's photography legend Michael Cooper.
Perhaps best know for his Rolling Stones work Cooper died young after he had photographed The Stones, Andy Warhol, Allan Ginsburg and many more.
They are all featured in this article as well as Twiggy, David Hockney, Brian Jones and Anita Pallenberg in Ireland, and Robert Fraser's art gallery in London.
Cooper was also a prolific fashion photographer and this article is written by Robin Muir who re-discovered Cooper, as he tells it, whilst researching in the Vogue archives.
Michael also produced fashion work for titles such as Town, Women's Own and Vogue.
