Cover - A gorgeous cover by Horst P Horst - the model wears a jewel clasped turban and trousers. The cover is revolutionary as trousers or slacks were a new fashion and talking point, and as a consequence this is the very first time trousers appeared on the cover of Vogue! This particular cover was published by US Vogue a month earlier and this is the absolute debut on British Vogue!
Portrait of Dolores Del Rio by Diego Rivera! Beautiful painting, full page colour plate.
There is a fabulous feature inside by Christian Berard - the illustrator has designed bed and linen coverings and costumes all beautifully illustrated in colour.

Followed by skirts and tops!
We love the Tennis fashion feature photographed by John Rawlings.
Rene Bouche illustrates silks including hats.
Zingal fabric is featured.
