This is the Vetements collective’s second book, 'Vetements Summercamp'
Photographed by Pierre-Ange Carlotti, with models and also members of the design crew modeling the Spring 2017 looks.
Collective head (and Balenciaga artistic director) Demna Gvasalia describes the approach:
“We wanted to shoot the clothes on the Vetements team and friends and combine it with having fun, so we rented a house in the countryside and stayed there for two nights, cooking, playing, chatting, shooting clothes, laughing, and having loads of fun! It was a very special moment.”
They all pose in looks from the 18-label collaboration with Levi’s, Juicy Couture, and Manolo Blahnik
Models include:
DJ Clara 3000, shown lying in the grass, zipped up in a Vetements-twisted version of a denim Canadian tuxedo.
Elena Cavagnara, who perches on a bathtub in a pink velour Juicy Couture skirt that matches the bathroom tiles.

Stylist Lotta Volkova poses almost nude in a pool as well as in a floral-print dress she wore on the Spring catwalk.
“It was like shooting a reality show,” wrote photographer Carlotti.
“I’ve never been in a summer camp and I don’t have a TV, everything seemed like a fun and wet dream. Every time I do a documentary, reality seems surreal to me.”
