This super rare and collectable BIG NEW BEAT with a classic Beatles cover. Scarce 1960's music magazine.
In 1963 Fiona Adams photographed The Beatles for Boyfriend magazine on a London building site near Euston. The Beatles then used one of the images from this session as the cover of their Twist and Shout single, and these images are a defining part of their image from this time.
There are several pages of Beatles photographs by Fiona within this magazine - unseen and new find for us!
Boyfriend magazine produced this issue called BIG NEW BEAT with an emphasis on the new Merseyside scene, spearheaded by The Beatles, and the shoot was actually used in this magazine, this issue!

Its a must have rare magazine for any Beatles collector. There are 9 more pages of the Fab Four inside, all stunning B+W photographs. One double page spread is another outtake from the Adams shoot with the boys standing across the road from the site.
They evoke the transition from Astrid Kutcher's Hamburg images and their new clean cut look in England.
It's a beautiful large format 'photo book' magazine printed on matt paper.
