SALVADOR DALI Amanda Lear PACO RABANNE Pertegaz of Spain THE TELEGRAPH magazine

Salvador Dali and Amanda Lear on the cover for a special issue on Spanish fashion. Dali painted various objects, as well as his signature, onto the photographs of himself with model Amanda Lear. 

Inside, Amanda wears amazing designs by Paco Rabanne (Amanda is topless and wears a fantastic linked metal triangle bolero in one image), Elio Berhanyer, Pedro Rovira, Carmen Mir and Pertegaz of Spain.  

Dali agreed to mastermind the shoot this magazine.  Locals in Spain set the sea on fire for one of Dali's effects,  while Dali's house was used as a venue for the fashion shoot. The meticulous brushwork with which Dali adorned the photographs was obtained by 50 different brushes - one of them with a single hair.

8 and a half truly spectacular pages, 4 of which are part-shown here.   You will not find this feature published anywhere else, it was commissioned just for this daily magazine.

Excellent condition. Slight printing marks to the cover inc on Dali's cuff.  Please inspect and don't buy if this bothers you.  Otherwise bright, clean and all pages still intact and tight to staples.  You will receive the entire magazine, with other articles, and which is complete.
