This is a very rare fashion spread with The Rolling Stones in the early-mid 1960's!
The shoot is by Norman Parkinson, one of the all time great fashion photographers.
The model, Nicole de la Marge, (French model who later went on to cover Paris Vogue) is styled in Mary Quant's Ginger designs and the boys are dressed in suits, larking about in the studio.
This is the original Stones line-up including Brian Jones and Bill Wyman.
There is also a brilliant 8 page Terence Donovan shoot with models in Helicopters and speedboats 'Playgirls'.
A two page review of the new American Ford Mustang.
2 full page ads for Mary Quant Ginger Group at Peter Robinson - see pics.
Also in this exceptional issue -
CLARE RENDLESHAM (ex-Vogue) is the Fashion Director.
Photography by - DAVID MONTGOMERY, DAVID STEEN, JOHN BULMER, TERENCE DONOVAN and a further fashion editorial shot by NORMAN PARKINSON (two features in this issue).
Illustrations by - JOHN GLASHAN and JULIET GLYNN SMITH.
and the great ex-advertising exec TOM WOLSEY is the Art Director of this issue.
Excellent condition. The magazine you are buying is a classic and brilliant 1960's issue. The cover has some light marks but is excellent overall. Scarce collector's item - insurance & online tracking is included in postage.
