Rare sixties issue of the British fashion magazine Petticoat, published weekly during the 60's - 70s.

This issue is all about 'Men and what they like'!  Very rare Petticoat magazine from the 1960’s Petticoat is scattered with beautiful illustrations and photography.

David Bailey talks about his favourite book and his comments about the book are intertwined with a 6 page feature/extract from ‘Out of Africa’ a memoir by Karen Blixen.

6 page fashion editorial with women's clothes influenced by mens MOD suits with men dressed in pinstripe suits, boiler suits, playsuits, battle dress etc etc there is a full range of women's clothes influenced by these styles including work overalls influencing dungarees, a boiler suit influencing a one piece, etc.  Featured designers Alistair Cowan, Max Theodore, John Craig, Dolcis, Edward Mann.

8 page pull out supplement on Sport featuring John Riding The Sailor, Mike Sangster the Tennis Player, Pete Brady the water Skier, Piers Courage the racing driver, Chris Collins the jockey, Colin Ingleby MacKenzie and Nick Silk the rugger player all with a  corresponding fashion image of a model dressed for that sport each captioned as ‘his girl'.
