This is the COVER ONLY from a very rare issue of the American edition of Vogue.

A scarce war-time issue dated December 1941, produced during WWII.

The cover was photographed by John Rawlings.

The model is Dorian Leigh.

Dorien wears satin dress designed by a Hattie Carnegie.

It's ideal for framing.  Genuine original.  There's an advert on the reverse (for the Matson Line ocean liner, as printed originally as part of the magazine.

As this is a Christmas Gift issue it would make a wonderful Xmas present.
