Cover -

Beautiful still life fashion drawing by PIERRE ROY.

A NEWSPAPER has been folded to form a HAT, which rests on a STAND in a milliner' STUDIO.  Placed on the work TABLE are tools of the craft person's trade; THIMBLE, SCISSORS, FEATHERS, RIBBON, THREAD, BOBBIN and a cast iron heavy pressing IRON. A very calm evocative image contrasting the war and destruction that would have been going on outside.

SPRING FORECAST

BEAUTY

Packed with forties fashion and tips on how to save costs due to resources such as fabric and paper being rationed during the war.

Excellent condition.  The photograph shows actual magazine you will receive. Please note the hole at the top left is where the Vogue Pattern book would have originally been secured with string.  Long since lost sadly.  These wartime Vogues are impossible to find now, there's only a finite amount left in the world and copies are increasingly difficult to source.

Shipping includes tracking and insurance.
