PG Wodehouse cover and feature in the Observer weekend magazine.

These magazine are very rare, they were only published for one day.

Wodehouse is interviewed and photographed with his beloved dogs shortly before his death in what must be one of his final interviews.

The two page double spread (+cover) are complemented wonderfully with 3 pages of Magnum photographer Elliot Erwitt's whimsical photographs of dogs. The whole feature is entitled 'Pekes, Hounds and Mutts' and forms an introduction to an Erwitt book.

Also inside is a wonderful Jane Bown & William Scobie feature on murals. The legendary Observer photographer Bown and Scobie have photographed murals all over the world and the images are from Venice Beach & Santa Monica California, La Cienega Boulevard, Deptford & Euston in London (murals by Goldsmiths students in Deptford) 

Excellent condition. the cover has some minor wear visible from age but overall the magazine is tight and in excellent condition. All pages tight to staples.
