A very collectable vintage issue of the Sunday Times Colour magazine from the 1960's. Mods photographed by Peter Freeman, a stunning photo story with fascinating captions.

This is an ULTRA rare and collectable issue, the only one we have seen in 18 years of searching!

The 18 year old on the cover is Denzil from Streatham -

' Things used to be lively in Streatham until the kids started to go up to the West End and getting introduced to pills, getting edgy and argumentative'... The interviews and mod detail is fantastic.

It's a brilliant 8 page feature written by Kathleen Halton and photographed around Soho, London and Margate by Robert Freedman.

The threads that the mods wear are analysed and detailed, including Mockers, Madras cotton jackets, and 'seven and sixes' t-shirts from Woolworths!

This is a rare edition of the Sunday Times magazine, a newspaper supplement to The Sunday Times newspaper, only ever on sale for one day.

Excellent condition for its age. Its mint apart from some light aging of the staples and the centre pages are slightly loose, coming off one staple on the centre pages only.  The photographs you see are of the actual magazine, that you will receive - we don't use stock images. Complete.

Shipping includes insurance & online tracking. We are happy to combine post.
