This is a rare issue of the French edition of Vogue.
Heralding the new season of spring; the cover model holds large bouquets of mimosa flowers.
This issue features the Paris spring collections.
There is an 8 page Haute Couture shoot in Tanzania in Africa by Willy Rizzo, photographed with wild/tamed animals :-( in Emporter Partout - see pics.
Guy Bourdin photographs a fashion and decor spread, 6 pages.
16 pages of beautiful classic images by William Klein with his signature abstract sign images - some appear to be collages of street scenes used as a backdrop for the models. 3 pages are missing from this story.
Henry Clarke also shoots many pages of fashion as well as the cover. Note 2 pages missing from this spread.
Photography also by Robert Doisneau and Jean Jacques Bugat.
Alberto Moravia portrait by Klein, one page, plus 'Quitter Mathilde' short story feature by Moravia.
Mexico feature.
Illustrations by Herve Dubly. 6 pp
2 x adverts drawn by Rene Gruau; one for Rodier, the other is the back cover ad for Les Parfums Christian Dior. Please note the rear cover has a corner piece missing; approx 6x10cm in size.
A huge and heavy issue - 310 pages!
Good condition. The spine has flattened slightly but all pages are secure. An old stamp to the cover. Note 5 pages and damage to back page as detailed above, otherwise fine - a rare find! Priced according to rarity and condition (without missing pages this would add another £100)!
