This is a rare UK edition - The UK version of Rolling Stone has different editorial and advertising content. Also making this a rare collectors item; the UK version did not have as a big a circulation as its US parent.
THIS ISSUE OF ROLLING STONE WAS THE FIRST IN WHICH ALL EDITORIAL PAGES WERE BRITISH.

Founded in California, by Jann Wenner back in 1967 Rolling Stone Magazine delved deep into the music world and frequently tackled political issues. In the first edition 11/9/1967 Wenner wrote that Rolling Stone "is not just about music, but about things & attitudes that the music scene embraces. However it quickly distanced itself from the underground newspapers of the time embracing traditional journalism & avoiding the radical politics championed by the underground press
Good condition. No mailing label. Newstand copy. Light staining in some areas on a couple of pages, small chipping and a small whole - see pics. These older copies have light mottling on the cover from age please see photos. The newsprint used for old Rolling Stones and NME's often discoloured and picked up mottling, it's not mould. Please inspect the photographs.
