This is a rare, vintage issue of the Sunday Times Magazine.  Published for just one day in Britain during the 1980's.

Cover -

The cover is a picture of Marilyn Monroe with the headline "The Cover Marilyn turned down".  MM herself marked this photo as 'rejected', shortly after she would die and these were the very last images taken of her.  Inside beginning on page 36 is a 6 page spread of pictures of Marilyn with the title" Marilyn: The very last picture show". The photographs were taken in 1962 by Bert Stern and appear in Vogue of that year as a tribute.
