This is a very rare issue of British magazine Picture Post magazine, published weekly in the UK back on March 26th, 1949.
This is a rare issue which has a very early and uncredited Marilyn Monroe on the cover. Marilyn was still Norma Jean at the time.
The 20 year old Norma Jean was photographed by Andre De Dienes for this cover. Andre began shooting Marilyn in 1945 when she was 19, and they began a love affair, and then a working relationship which lasted until 1953. His images of Marilyn are desired by serious collectors.
This cover is an extremely rare outtake from a shoot with 20 year old Norma on Malibu Beach in California.
This is a 40 page oversized magazine measuring 13x10".

Amazingly rare artefact. These early issues of Picture Post are extremely difficult to find - there's only a finite amount of these old magazines left in the world!
Excellent condition. There is natural age and light wear to some edges of the magazine some light browning, see photos. Normal for this paper. The Photographs are of the actual copy you will receive; we don't use stock images.
