Interview magazine was founded in 1969 by Andy Warhol. Nicknamed "The Crystal Ball of Pop", it features interviews with artists, musicians, thinkers and pop culture icons. This is the rare and sought after Kenneth Jay Lane issue, featured on the cover with his wife Nicola Weymouth. (The magazine unfolds to reveal Ken on the back cover)!
The eye popping op-art pop art illustration enhanced to the Bill King photograph by Bill King is by the famous art director Richard Bernstein. This is their first interview together.

Super scarce and collectible issue. Old school large folded format, classic seventies era of Interview.
The magazine is in excellent condition with some light wear to the cover see detailed photos. One small chip to the centre of the fold of the cover page, small area of paper loss to the cover page only, at the top where the mag has been folded lengthways. Light fraying to some edges however this is normal and it's mostly fine. This is a sought after issue and very few remain on the open market. The photo shows the actual magazine you will receive.
