There is a stunning Irving Penn collections fashion shoot, photographed in the famed Penn Paris studios, with models Lisa Fonssigrives (whom he was to marry shortly after) and Jean Patchett). Penn used this studio in France using natural light and the same grey back cloth, the same fabric that toured as part of the recent Penn Exhibition curated by The Met and toured to Paris and beyond. 18 pages. Some of these images were repeated in a Paris edition of Vogue, others are unique to this issue.
