Default Title

Rare issue of the cult French fashion supplement Style Liberation.

This issue is themed the SPIRIT OF 1970 and the fashion is photographed by perhaps the ultimate 70's fashion photographer; Harri Peccinotti.

Harry shoots swimwear in Brazil for the best of the Summer 2005 collections.  The cover model is Zoe Gaze, wearing Stella McCartney.

Brazilian model Fernanda Tavares pairs with Zoe for the extensive Collections spread shot in Bresil (read on).

Harri was a pivotal figure in the 1960's and 70s particularly in his key role in NOVA magazine as both art director and photographer. (Nova may be our favourite fashion magazine and we have sung its praises elsewhere, have a look here.)

Still shooting in 2005 (and today!) Harri delivers his signature louche cool look.

The magazine starts with a magnificent 7 page tribute and interview with Harri at 70 years old, including his work with Nova and the Pirelli calendar from 1969. He talks about his highlights including shooting Jordan (Pamela Rooke), the Vivienne Westwood punk, in 1969.

The Collections editorial are shown A-Z starting with Haider Ackermann via Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquire & Martin Margiela to Rick Owens ... Yohji Yamamoto and Garpard Yurkievich.
