This is the very sought after issue of the British edition of Vogue, with iconic redhead Welsh model on the cover and inside...

Cover -

A young Grace Coddington is the cover model.  Grace famously appeared in 'The September Issue', the behind-the-scenes film about American Vogue.  Grace still works alongside the Editor In Chief Anna Wintour, and the movie followed the preparation of the September 2007 Issue, then the biggest issue ever produced by US Vogue.

Grace is photographed by Peter Rand for this 1962 cover, then inside is a 2 page fashion shoot modeled by Grace and shot by Claude Virgin.  An image of this very issue of UK Vogue appeared in the film, as an introduction to Grace.   In this '62 issue, Grace wears black and white designs by Susan Small etc for a fashion editorial which she models in.

Contents -

Jean Shrimpton models in a 6 page fashion shoot set mainly outdoors with a coastal background.  B/w as well as colour fashion plates, wearing a white satin coat and a black velvet cardigan and skirt in one image.
