Rarer than rare - in 2002 the French fashion label Nina Ricci commissioned David Hamilton to photograph their Spring Summer look book.
Published as a hardback book, with each page separated by tracing paper - under Hamilton’s instructions (read his article published inside this book) to enhance the photographer's signature 'soft-focus' effect.
You will find the Nina Ricci emblem as a raised motif on the back cover, along with the fashion house address on Avenue Montaigne, Paris.
There is an article in French and English which talks about the project with Hamilton and the three models.
The cover and first page is designed with a window cut out.
