This is the very first time that Giorgio Armani appeared in ANY magazine. It was here that he got his break. Styling for the Sicons brand, he was granted a 6 page campaign to feature in this very issue. Aldo Fallai suggested to GA that he would take the photographs. GA agreed, even though Aldo had been working as a graphic designer and bought his first camera as a result of this commission. The rest, as they say, is history. GA went on to become a global fashion brand and the Armani+Aldo creative partnership lasted for years. (There's also a 2 page b/w feature on GA later in this issue) ~ Historically important issue.
