A super rare and collectable 1st issue of BIG BEAT which was a classic 1960's music magazine, with a small circulation!

At the time Big Beat or the Merseybeat was the big thing is music, bands from Liverpool in the wake of The Beatles.

Gerry and The Pacemakers on the cover and featured inside 4 more pages at a fairground.

The Beatles are featured over 4 pages and photographed in a full page backstage image in the Palace Court Hotel in Bournemouth followed by a Fabulous double page colour poster of The Beatles, the fourth page is more photos of the boys at the hotel having some tea.

Jane Fonda is given a full page 'American Eye' feature with a beautiful portrait. Richard Chamberlain reports that she has just got her first driving license.

6 pages of Elvis Presley with quotes from Natalie Wood and Richard Chamberlain as he is profiled with lots of photos.

We have a few copies that we are listing and are happy to discount for several issues, feel free to get in touch.

Very good condition with light wear visible. The spine and back cover has some small tears and on the back there are a couple of pieces of paper missing near the spine (measuring around 1cm triangle on the back) from wear but the magazine, however the staples are still secure and the magazine is complete.  You can see in the photograph some wear on the left hand side.  The photograph shows the actual magazine you will receive.

These Big Beats have never been folded and will be sent flat in a sturdy board envelope.
