Vintage issue of About Town magazine,  dated April 1961.  The 1960's classic magazine that influenced every magazine after, starting with TOWN.

The cover is the young French actress Françoise Dorléac who is also featured on 2 pages of colour photos inside. Vive la Françoise: Desmond Russell photographs a rising French star.  Photographed by Desmond Russell.  Françoise Dorléac  made her film debut in The Wolves in the Sheepfold (1960), directed by Hervé Bromberger. Dorléac was on the brink of international stardom when she died on 26 June 1967 in a motor accident.
