The front cover picture was especially painted for this edition by Russian born theatre designer and artist Eugene Berman, and there is short article about him in this edition - to tie in with an exhibition of his works at that time in the Hanover Gallery in London. 

Full page illustrations by Rene Bouche, Marcel Vertes, Mary Kessell, Saul Steinberg (2 full page drawings and one smaller sketch) and painter John Ward.
