'Backflip' by Herb Ritts. As it originally appeared in print. An original print of this recently sold for £40,850(!)

Herb Ritts was one of the most iconic photographers of all time. He created one of his most famous images 'Backflip' in the 1980's on assignment for a fashion feature.

The model was Tony Ward and this is a chance to own the issue that this collectable photograph first appeared in.

The photograph is held in many esteemed museums across the world and it was the centre piece of his retrospective show that toured in the past decade.

The full shoot is beautiful and includes another supermodel; TATJANA PATITZ (see our pictures).  It's a classic 1980's fashion magazine!

"This mixture of innocence, strength, and vulnerability found another emblematic image: the backward dive into an empty sky, taken at Paradise Cove in 1987. Optimism, faith in movement and in the freezing of the image characterise this spectacular shot of a backflip fixed in all the strength of its beauty.
