This is a rare issue of Harpers Bazaar from the exceptionally hard to find WWII era. 

COVER -

Fantastic cover by Erwin Blumenfeld.  This magazine featured as part of the "Blumenfeld Studio: New York, 1941–1961" exhibition at Somerset House in London recently.  The model wears jewels by Cartier.  This issue also contains another image displayed at the show;  the transformation of Manet's famous painting "Le Bar aux Folies Bergeres" into a modern American bar, 2 pages.
