This issue was art directed by Thomas (or 'Tom') Wolsey, who went on to art direct Queen magazine.
This edition is dated December 1962. Town is an extremely sought after and iconic men's fashion and style title, copies of which are getting more and more difficult to find.

There is an extremely rare Sean Connery as James Bond early advertisement for Smirnoff with some superb text about Connery being the perfect fit for the role. This is in advance of 'forthcoming film' Dr No, the first James Bond film that launched the Ian Fleming character and, for some, definitive James Bond Sean Connery on the world stage. Connery / Bond is in the Dorchester in London awaiting his next assignment... A scarce full page colour ad. Also includes the cocktail recipe for his drink.
TOWN is a very rare magazine indeed and highly sought after and this early James Bond/ 007 advertising makes this one of the ultimate issues to collect.
