These weekend magazines are becoming more and more impossible to find. They were weekly, began in 1962 to 1964 and only published on a Saturday or Sunday. That's almost 60 years ago, so 52 issues per year x 60 years equates to over 3,000 issues which have been published. Finding this one issue is a one in 3,000 chance! Never mind the fact that most copies were discarded at the end of the weekend, and very few remain.
Condition is excellent. One enclosed tear halfway down the cover page (only) running in from the spine. Only light movement of paper at staples, however staples are still secure, and the magazine is complete. The photographs you see are from the actual copy you will receive.
Shipping includes tracking and insurance. We are happy to combine orders and pass on the savings to you. To purchase more than one item from our shop and receive combined postage discounts, please add all the items you would like to the shopping basket, but do not proceed to checkout. Our Covid Virus Plan - September 2020
We are still trading. We are still posting sales. The post office has advised, as an essential service, that it will remain open. There are also extra cargo planes to keep up with demand, and couriers such as FedEx and DHL have increased capacity.
We have lots of packaging in stock, we started self isolating in early March and we have a new, very stringent cleaning routine in place. We have thousands of magazines close to us in our archive and office and we also have many more in boxes in storage. Any stock we retrieve is being handled with gloves. All of our stock is already sealed, as all our vintage magazines are stored in individual archive sleeves, in acid-free boxes, and in climate-controlled art storage.
The world has changed and it will continue to change in profound ways that we cannot fully imagine. We have no other income and we really appreciate any sales we make that at this time. As we start this long path of isolation and spend more time cut off we are, in a small way, a little excited about the idea of being able to provide reading material and rare magazines for people all over the world.
