Inside this incredible issue:

Chris Killip portfolio.  Quite possibly the first printing of these iconic images.  7 pages of his now famous images of gypsies, miners and locals from Newcastle.

The seed collection of The Fashion Museum in Bath were vintage clothes collected and donated by DORIS LANGLEY MOORE, and she is interviewed in this fascinating two page feature as she auctions the remainder of her archive of vintage fashion plates, periodicals and books at Christies.  Doris talks about her fellow collector of this genre; Vyvyan Holland, son of Oscar Wilde.  Features photos of her collection including work by/from DUFY, ADOLPH SANDOZ, GAZETTE DE BON TON, LA GAZETTE, THE QUEEN magazine and watercolour fashion designs by the fashion designer LUCILE, who survived the sinking of the Titanic.

Germaine Greer and Christopher Lloyd in a gardening feature.

SALLY BURTON in 'A Room Of My Own', 2 page interview with photo.  Sally was married to RICHARD BURTON for a year.

This is a rare vintage issue of The Observer magazine supplement, only ever on sale for one day in the UK in the eighties.

Excellent condition.  The fold on the cover is a printing error, otherwise great - photographs are of the actual item that you will receive, we don't use stock photos.  Slight damage to outside of bottom staple but this doesn't affect the magazine internally; all pages still held tight to both staples.

Shipping includes tracking and insurance. We are happy to combine orders and pass on the savings to you.
