The cover was designed by art director Scott King and won numerous magazine design awards. (Someone here at ElegantlyPapered has one single tattoo... In the early 2000's, drawings by various artists including Julie Verhoeven and Gary Hume were donated to a Dazed & Confused exhibition. The Scott King sketch was chosen and the procedure was photographed for the show.)
