The rare and collectable 1960's issue of Queen magazine.  Sought after vintage issue and published in the UK.  Queen is one of the all-time classic fashion magazines and they are very hard to find. Known for amazing fashion and photography, this issue is art directed by TOM WOLSEY and the Associate Editor is NORMAN PARKINSON. CLARE RENDLESHAM is the Fashion Editor, famously she accompanied David Bailey and Jean Shrimpton for that iconic Made in Manhattan story for Vogue, was fired then then hired by Queen...

Cecil Beaton photographs a fashion editorial around his own home, Reddish House.  This is a rare glimpse in to the past life of this beautiful house.  Models pose amongst INDOOR PLANTS and in his conservatory, flower room... amongst whicker and bamboo furniture ... 6 pages + Garden Prints cover... this is peak cottagecore!  One of the models looks to be Sandra Paul, see our third photo.

The dress on the cover was designed by JOHN MARKS to celebrate 'the new Queen magazine' and inside is a coupon to mail order the pattern to create this rose print day dress.

MYLENE DEMONGEOT and BLANCHE CARDINALE (Claudia Cardinale's photographer - and sister!) model for NORMAN PARKINSON. 6 pages wearing EMMANUELLE KHANH.

BRIAN DUFFY photographs a 'milk-maid' themed fashion spread in the countryside. 4 pages.

Another spread by Norman Parkinson, this time with male and female models. 6 pages, mod-ish fashion.

Article on the new ART NOUVEAU and new interior design products such as lamps, wallpaper etc
