The cover of this issue is a unique Andy Warhol artwork, commissioned by French Vogue to celebrate this special issue which is guest edited by Princess Caroline of Monaco.  

This is one of the extremely special Christmas issues of French Vogue.  Paris Vogue produced amazing double December - January issues and selected a special personality to become an editor for this Xmas edition.  The guest would load issue with their own favourite artists and they are all wonderful.

Inside this issue there is an 34 page special by Caroline de Monaco - including a full page of snapshots with Andy Warhol taking Caroline's portrait and her Nana's Christmas Cake recipe!

There is also a unique a four page B&W collage and photo spread by the legendary image-maker Helmut Newton with images of Caroline of Monaco and cats!

Yves Saint Laurent is interviewed by Diana Vreelend.

Accompanied by a 12 page preview feature about the 1984 Yves Saint Laurent retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York: curated by Diana Vreeland.  

14 page editorial shoot about titled 'Luxe…Luxes'.  Incredible images on the Orient Express by Guy Bourdin in Venice.

Yves Saint Laurent is interviewed by Diana Vreelend and this feature is accompanied by a 12 page preview feature about the 1984 YSL retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York: curated by Vreeland.  

A Guide to Some of the Lesser Ballets by Woody Allen, 8 pages including a full page drawing of David Bowie by Ajin Noda.  

'Soirs a Las Vegas' is a 12 page B&W editorial shoot by Scottish born photographer Albert Watson who has shot over 200 international Vogue covers over the years.

Full page article titled 'The Right Word' by the late Tunisian born (1925-1987) fashion writer Hebe Dorsey, who worked as Fashion Editor of The International Herald Tribune.

Half a page article on the James Bond film 'Never Say Never Again', (1983) which saw Sean Connery return to the role 12 years after 'Diamonds are Forever'.

'A Christmas Memory' (One full page in English) by American author Truman Capote who is responsible for writing the classic novel 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'.

A full page Roberto Fabris advertisement image shot by German portrait and fashion photographer Andre Gau, who was trained by Peter Lindbergh in Paris.
