Benito FABRICS Hats FRENCH Paris Vogue 1931 September
The cover was drawn by the great fashion illustrator Eduardo Benito, and depicts a woman archer, in an art deco slip dress, probably cut on the bias as was the style of the thirties.
The background is a sketch of a two-tone autumn leaf, this being the fall fashion special issue.
This is also the Chapeaux et Tissus, or Hats and Fabrics issue.
Packed with fabulous Parisian fashion, photography and design.
Scarce and sought after antique issue. There are only a finite amount of these 1930's Vogues left in the world...
Excellent condition. Light creasing and one tiny enclosed tear (measuring just 1cm) to the leading edge of the cover. Colours vibrant and very clean.
Scarce collector's item - insurance and tracking is included in post.
