This is a rare issue of the American edition of Harpers Bazaar December 1954.
One of THE most iconic magazine covers.
The model; SUNNY HARNETT, wears a Madam Gres satin design and the image was photographed by RICHARD AVEDON.
There are also six drawings by ANDY WARHOL in this issue, to illustrate a fashion feature.
We believe the stars drawn on the cover are also by Warhol.
Before Warhol made his name as a pop artist, he earned a living as a commercial illustrator, originally commissioned to illustrate adverts, then hired by Harper's Bazaar in the 1950s.
