This is a very sought after British edition of Vogue. This issue contains the famous photographs of models posing in houses that have were bombed in World War II they are haunting images by Clifford Coffin. Titled 'Renaissance', the article talks about the renewing of London with restaurants starting to open, parties once again in flower, and squares being painted and tiled. Models including Norman Parkinson’s wife Wenda Parkinson, wear couture from Peter Russell and Molyneaux etc in an Upper Brook Street London property affected by the Blitz.
