The cover is very unusual indeed. Drawn, designed and credited to George Lepape, the Elsa Schiaparelli sofa-inspired quilted coat was then made into a plaster sculpture and photographed against a painted background so the final result is a photograph of a painted plaster model.

This is a British edition of Vogue magazine - rare and sought after 1930's issue. Anything Pre WWII is very rare because paper was recycled during the war.
