Alfred Hitchcock HELMUT NEWTON Horvat ADJANI Paris Vogue 1974 December

£250.00

Default Title

Paris Vogue; the iconic 1974 Christmas issue edited by legendary director Alfred Hitchcock.

Featuring rare behind-the-scenes content about Hitchcock, his life and his films - including a tour of the home he shared with his wife, Peggy!

Includes a fascinating article on Hitchcock's working relationship with some of his biggest female stars, including Tippi Hedren (posing with Alfred and a black raven bird), Grace Kelly, Shirley MacLaine, Ingrid Bergman and Teresa Wright.

Photography by Helmut Newton (a stunning black and white 4 page spread), and Philip Halsman. And a most amazing Frank Horvat story which is very alike Stanley Kubrick's film The Shining..!

Isabelle Adjani and Eva Swann model in a most beautiful 4 scene spread. Two pages each (4 images each) wearing Chaumet and Nina Ricci.

Skiwear fashion spread, we think one of the models is Janice Dickinson...

...And, as if you needed anything further... 4 pages of Salvador Dali the artist himself attending the opening of his exhibition at the Teatro Museum in Barcelona!

Paris Vogue has had a tradition of inviting exceptional artists to edit their December / Christmas Issue, this is one of those very rare issues.

French Vogue from the 1970's dated Decembre 1974 - Janvier / January 1975 (double issue).
