ELIZABETH TAYLOR Helmut Newton MARTHA VELEZ Interview magazine 11/1978

£145.00

Default Title

A fantastic issue of the cult culture and fashion magazine Interview with Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor on the cover designed and painted by Richard Bernstein. There's a great interview with Taylor inside with Firooz Zahedi.

Other interviews in this issue include infamous Japanese film director Nagisa Oshima, Warhol muse Barbi, Peter Marshall, Andrea Marcovicci, Bill Kaiserman, Monique Van Deven, Martha Velez, Mark Hemingway, Troy & Sue, and Judith Cohen.

Includes 4 pages of images from Helmut Newton's gorgeous book of B&W photography "White Women" featuring Lou Lou De La Falaise, Elsa Peretti, and Verushka.

Writng by the wonderful Fran Lebowitz.

Even the ads are amazing in this issue with whole page advertisments for Copacabana, New York's coolest discotheque, Robert Palmer's new albulm 'Some People Can Do What They Like', YSL and others.

Interview magazine was founded in 1969 by Andy Warhol. Nicknamed "The Crystal Ball of Pop", it features interviews with artists, musicians, thinkers and pop culture icons.

Some discolouration and small tears mainly to the edges of the pages as you would expect with a newsprint item of this age (see images).
