Default Title

A really fantastic issue of the cult Parisian style bible Jill with cover shot by Bruno Juminer and over a hundred pages of incredible, innovative designs, styling and fashion photography choreographed by the legendary French fashion guru and taste maker Elizabeth Dijan.

This great issue includes a gorgeous 8 page feature on iconic designers Adeline André, Thomas Mangold, Hervé Léger, and Azzedine Alaia, a stunning 14 page model competition shoot by cult fashion illustrator Tony Viramontes, an 8 page hat photo shoot styled by Dijan and photographed by José Arman Pita, and a 4 page feature on Arnold Schwarzenegger and his new film 'The Terminator'. Not forgetting the Isabelle Adjani 'Starfix' poster style feature (one page), a fashion featre on hats (with the most amazing Martine Sitbon cap sleeved T-Shirt!) and an interview with fashion designer Christian Lacroix, which includes some of his delicate fashion illustrations.

Jill only ran for 12 issues and this is Number 9, from 1985.

An incredibly sought after title which is only rarely available to buy. This. Is. Your. Chance.

Founded by Elizabeth 'Babeth' Dijan, who would later go on to edit Numéro, Jill is the quintessential 1980s Parisian style bible which only ran for 12 issues between 1983-85. With its gorgeous, lavishly styled black and white fashion shoots and sleek design, Jill went on to become a legendary title among fashion designer, stylists and photographers.

Very good condition with some light wear to the cover and throughout (see images).
