This issue also features several really fantastic photographic spreads by Avedon including an 8 page piece on religious leaders and another brilliantly ethereal photo-essay on the iconic Russian convent 'Novodiévitchi'.

Also inside, a 10 page photographic feature by Karl Lagerfeld starring uber stylish French actor Carole Bouquet, and François-Marie Banier takes street photography to the next level with her 14 page feature on the chic (and the wacky) denizens of Paris.

Interviews in this great issue include Arielle Dombasle by cult French avant-garde novelist Alain Robbe-Grillet, plus interviews with pop pixie Bjork and Russian pianist Evgeny Kissin with portraits by Richard Avedon.
